Design Conference Mock Program

I was able to create a mock program for the Creative Works Design Conference as an assignment in a publication course….under one single guideline….my professor used the wikiroulette randomizer and whatever wikipedia page came up, I had to incorporate into my design. My random article was about a 1900’s ballet dancer, which inspired me to use the symbols from Labanotation (a system for analyzing human movement using symbols to represent timing/body parts/etc), because it is widely recognized for documenting ballet choreography. Look closely and maybe you’ll spot the symbols!

As the finishing touch, I was able to print this 60 page doc on a RISOGRAPH(!!), adding an extra layer of authenticity to the project.
